Career ideas involving bones?

I've been thinking about careers and such and I was wondering if anyone has ideas that involve bones or something like that. I'm not interested in orthopedic surgery, surgery isn't my thing. But I've found the body systems to be interesting, especially the skeletal system. So if anyone has any advice it would be appreciated!
Oh yeah, and if you know, about how long does a person have to go to school for that type of career? Thanks!
Answer:
Rheumatologist is one choice. Another would be sports medicine; lots of joint issues. Radiologists have to know a lot about the skeleton.
College = 4 years
Med school = 4 years
Rheumatology is internal medicine (3 years) + fellowship (3 years)
Sports medicine is a fellowship of internal medicine.
most medical careers take 4-8 years of schooling. you could be a rheumatologist, which studies joints. or you could be one of those people that studies x-rays (dunno what the hell those are called sorry)
PS sometimes simple answers are the best ;)
You could do research. There is lots of research in pharmaceutics, bioengineering, biology, and oncology on different bone diseases and potential cures. You could potentially work in that type of lab with a BS, but generally lab assistants don't have the luxury of being very picky about what type of research they do.
You could also go to grad school, get a PhD, and then do your own research or work in industry. PhD's get to be a bit pickier about what they study.
A BS takes 4 years on average, PhD is another 5 or so years on top of that.
There are probably some other types of medicine involving the skeletal system, but I don't think they completely exclude surgery.
Radiologic Technology (X-Ray Tech) is about 75% bone related. When I was in the field it took 2-1/2 yrs to get an AS degree.(Due to clinicals.)
Physical Therapists (R.P.T.) work with muscles attached to bones and must have intimate knowledge of all of them. This career takes less time than becoming a physician. Also a chiropractor (D.C.) works with muscle and bone. Good chiropractors know their limits and refer to Medical Doctors when they can not help.
