Chances for medicine after Pre-med?

i m applying for pre-med courses in the USA . i m from the UK. what is the chance that i will be accepted into medicine into university after doing the pre-med ? please help.
Answer:
Getting into medical school basically depends on your MCAT scores and your overall GPA as well as your science GPA. Medical schools in the US also like to see that you are engaging in community/ health realated activities like internships at hospitals. Also, the essays, primarily the personal statement might make the difference between acceptance and rejection. suprizingly these do make a difference.
Good luck!
By the way Pre-med it definately NOT "going to sleep" time
Do you mean getting your bachelor's degree? There isn't a separate program just for pre-med courses.
As for chances, we don't know anything about you. If you are hard working, smart, get good grades, then you have a good chance.

pre med is that going to sleep time
About half the applicants get into medical school. An informal and completely unscientific poll I did in medical school showed that those of us there knew which of our pre-med colleagues weren't going to make it, and there were a few surprises among those who did. If you're reasonably intelligent and well-educated to this point, I predict you'll do well, and you'll see the classmates who are obviously not equipped academically for anything post-graduate, if indeed they're able to graduate.
